Helping leadership teams develop new business accelerators and introduce brilliant user experiences in software and mobile applications.
CA Technologies
Senior Product Manager, Agile Central
At CA Technologies, I led the development and strategic direction of accelerator products for web and mobile applications, focusing on enhancing user engagement and streamlining workflows. I managed accelerators such as Flowdock and Catchfly, building strategic roadmaps and key features for Catchfly, a new productivity app. Leading a team of eight developers across Android, iOS, and web platforms, I employed agile-driven SDLC, design thinking, and scrum/kanban methodologies to ensure market viability and drive product strategy.
Additionally, I assessed, identified, and prioritized new product initiatives, presenting viable options to executive stakeholders and R&D teams. I promoted iterative development cycles, managed two front-end development teams, and led the testing and release of new features.
Through these efforts, I contributed to the development of innovative solutions that enhanced user experience and drove business growth.

User feedback at each milestone
Engaging with users at CA Technologies each week was a valuable experience. We brought customers into big room planning sessions to ensure our roadmap met their needs, while I remained focused on incorporating their feedback to deliver features that aligned with their expectations and were customer-approved.
Cross-segmentation rollouts
By leveraging cross-segmentation rollouts, we were able to release new SaaS versions iteratively, providing the flexibility to roll back when necessary. This approach ensured that both customers and users were satisfied with the latest functionality and allowed us to address any issues quickly.
- Crafted requirements aligned with the voice of the customer, ensuring features were vetted and approved by users before deployment to meet their expectations.
- Managed the adoption and cross-segmentation rollout of new features in eight languages globally, ensuring seamless localization and timely delivery across diverse markets.
- Co-created context labs to gain customer insights, improve analytics, and address pain points, fostering higher engagement through collaborative brainstorming sessions with engineers and customers.
- Partnered with both co-located and distributed teams to execute product strategy and drive the development of the product roadmap.
- Commercialized the product and support teams at conferences and industry events, enhancing visibility and driving engagement with key stakeholders.
- Conducted market analysis and user interviews, gathering both qualitative and quantitative customer data to assess solution viability, understand user challenges, and ensure market alignment.
- Worked daily with a team of engineers and leadership to execute product strategy, drive the roadmap, and align with the vision, utilizing Scrum and Kanban methodologies to accelerate feature delivery and meet market demands while staying competitive.
- Defined and scoped feature priorities alongside a cross-functional team of product managers, UX, marketing, and engineering, using validated customer insights and usage data to guide decisions.
- Applied Agile execution to assess sizing, capacity, and deliverability, using lean startup methodologies for rapid pivoting and design to consistently deliver features to GA by high-visibility deadlines while communicating value and direction to teams and stakeholders.
- Maintained a competitive edge by continuously adapting the user experience and testing customer-facing mockups to validate problems, conduct market research, and ensure solution fit.
- Conducted market research, competitive analysis, and marketing messaging with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful product messaging and features.

Before being acquired by Broadcom, CA Technologies offered a diverse portfolio of products, including Agile Central (now Rally), along with accelerator products like Flowdock and Catchfly. I supported the product strategy and roadmap across all platforms, collaborating with remote developers throughout the US to drive development and ensure alignment with business goals.
