Head of Product

As Head of Product at LifeTagger, I joined the founding team to build a proximity based messaging platform from the ground up, turning the idea of location aware content delivery into a real product that served multiple industries.

I set LifeTagger’s product strategy and roadmap, and I owned the front end development across iOS, Android, and web myself. I shaped the platform into a live marketplace where businesses could deliver personalized content based on GPS proximity and context, then built the interfaces that made that real. I mapped customer journeys for both B2C creators and B2B enterprise clients, designed the UX, and wrote the front end code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks to make it work cleanly across devices.

Outside product and code, I led customer validation through our advisory board, designed wireframes and prototypes, ran design thinking workshops, did discovery with early customers, and built the go-to-market plans. I set up processes for building and maintaining web applications, trained the team on web standards, and kept the front end codebase ready to support LifeTagger across conference, retail, hospitality, and property management verticals. Through market analysis, user testing, and steady iteration, I built a platform that held its technical quality without losing the user experience or the business goals.

Context-Aware Platform for Content Creators and VIP Experiences

I built LifeTagger’s core value for creators: VIP experiences delivered through proximity based messaging. I designed and built features that let creators share behind the scenes content, production notes, show notes, and sponsor offers that activate based on where the user is. I implemented the front end with responsive design so it worked across iOS, Android, and desktop, and I mapped the journeys and coded the experiences that set LifeTagger apart in a crowded market, giving creators a way to stand out with content that triggers on location and pulls their audience closer.

B2B Marketplace Dashboard for Real-Time Business Engagement

I built LifeTagger’s B2B dashboard from concept through front end, making it simpler for businesses to reach the right audience with proximity marketing. I set the product strategy and built the interface that let property managers, retailers, restaurants, hotels, and event organizers push photos, promotions, and information through a live marketplace. I wrote responsive front end code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that put complex location targeting in reach of non technical users, and established LifeTagger as a real engagement platform across several industries.

User-Controlled Content Tagging Across Web and Mobile

I designed and built LifeTagger’s flexible tagging system, which let users tag anything from a personal reminder to commercial content with location based triggers. I designed the UX and built the front end so people could attach images, video, or audio to a specific place, with fine grained control over who sees it. I built responsive interfaces that worked across mobile and desktop, creating one technical foundation that served both consumer cases, like personal location memories, and commercial ones, like business proximity marketing, in a single codebase.

Contributions
  • Established web application processes and standards. Created workflows for building and maintaining the web apps and trained the team on web standards and best practices to keep collaboration tight and code quality high.
  • Led technical discovery with the co-founders. Ran early discovery to define business goals, choose the technology stack, and make the architecture decisions for the front end.
  • Served as UX/UI lead for product and marketing. Led design and development across the product and LifeTagger’s marketing materials, keeping the branding consistent across every touchpoint.
  • Built the customer advisory board. Set up a structured way for early adopters to feed into product development, validating both the strategy and the build before launch.
  • Led user testing and research. Ran market analysis, UX interviews, and user testing, and used what came back to shape product decisions and front end design.
  • Set go-to-market strategy and onboarding. Drove adoption through clear positioning and made sure the platform could support different industries and global markets.

At LifeTagger, I built the product foundation for a context aware platform, working as both Head of Product and front end development lead. I pulled together product strategy, hands on coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, UX/UI design, and go-to-market execution. I mapped customer journeys and built the responsive web interfaces across mobile and desktop, set up the customer advisory board, designed wireframes and coded working prototypes, and led the technical discovery that defined LifeTagger's architecture. By doing both the strategy and the build, I set LifeTagger up to deliver live, location driven engagement between businesses and the people right in front of them.
